One of the reasons I bought a professional camera is because I knew how unpredictable MY baby/toddler could be! Not every day is roses, and he often turned on the crying and drama when I brought my camera around. I knew it might take several takes or days to get the pictures I wanted of him. So when little Asher didn't care for my camera either, I understood....completely!! I didn't want to put the pressure of having a 'perfect' shoot that day. So Renee and I decided on another date to finish up Asher's 1 year pictures. My goal as a photographer is to make sure my clients are happy with their pictures!! Funny enough, when we were able to get back together (another day there was a torrential downpour & we had to cancel); I had to bring my son, Jameson. We thought it would work well in that Camden and him would play while we finished with Asher. Sure enough, my son decided to be the one who had a meltdown because....well I was taking pictures of someone else!! Asher, on the other hand, was a gem and we got some great shots!!
In honor of little ones, I had to add this first picture. I feel that these pictures can be just as great as the perfect smiley ones! Why not remember this moment?....& be able to have a good laugh in the future:)
I love these next candid shots... just, you know, hanging out in the yard holding balloons! I mean, who doesn't do this on a random Sunday?!!
A little brotherly love!! BTW...Camden was cracking me up before I fully stepped through the door!!
And here's to Asher turning 1!! What a cutie!
Even though we had a few hiccups, I hope that you guys LOVE your pictures!! Thank you for being patient with the wait time.

Taking pictures at a more professional level has been a joy for many reasons! One of the top reasons: catching up with friends that I haven't seen (in person....not just through Facebook) in a long time!! Keisha, being one of these people! I loved being able to take Emme's 6 month pictures, some family pictures, .... & simply just getting to interact with her cute little family!
When Keisha mentioned taking the pictures at Parkview Park, I got excited about all the possible places throughout the park that would make for a beautiful background (mostly involving being on the ground)! WELL...we got a little surprise! It was the most humid morning so the ground was already damp. We thought, 'okay. we can deal with a little damp. We'll take pictures on the bridge, then come back in the grass when it's a little drier'! Well of course....the sprinkler system then decided to soak MUCH of the park! So that being said, we found a few dry spots; & it just shows that the subject creates the cuteness!
Emme was too adorable to shoot!!
I love these next shots with big sis, Jules!! She does such a good job with Emme!
I think there's no better way to finish this post then with a fabulous family picture!
